For realz. Seriously if I couldn't leave my own house because my ex would be getting naked for someone else...damn. I'd be posting my own nudes. And they would be better. And with someone hotter. Bad girl! But be careful. For some reason THE WORLD thinks that making someone jealous brings them back is the FINAL OUTCOME. It can also push them farther away.

I agree, don't beat yourself up about this.

Sometimes when a relationship does not work out well, it's not because of anything YOU did, it's because of some internal issue with your gal friend.

Attraction is an odd beast. Sometimes people are attracted to someone for all the wrong reasons or reasons that have to do with childhood imprinting.

For example perhaps this guy she is now seeing looks like her father or her brother and she feels comfortable with him. Or perhaps he reminds her of some guy she was attracted to in High School or University, whom she could never get to pay attention to her.

Then bam, along comes some guy that reminds her of these other people and she is triggered into being attracted to him, and he pays attention to her and ……oh well, disaster.

Will it work out in the long run? Likely not. Typically when you find another relationship, when already in a relationship, it rarely lasts.

Long term relations require more than lust.

But meanwhile, just do things for YOU. Do things that make you feel good about yourself. Work out at the gym. Go out with friends. Volunteer at a children's home. Kid always adore and idolized adults who treat them well.

It's normal to take a huge hit to your ego when a gal friend starts seeing someone else. Truly though, this is more about her issues than you.

You will eventually find someone who is a better fit for your temperament. It's best not to rush into something new. Take your time. Just be you and enjoy being you.
