I'm really new to Pheromones and I was wondering what the difference was between Like A Magnet and BAM... I searched the forum, but the only info I found is that one contains alpha-someword and the other contains beta-someword and they both contain cops... but what is the difference in their effects?

Hi Elana, I am so glad you decided to join.

Like A Magnet is a mix of Alpha Androstenol and copulins.

BAM is a mix of Beta Androstenol and copulins.

Alpha Androstenol and Beta Androstenol are both attractive social type pheromones.

Alpha Androstenol attracts attention, its comfortable, friendly, helps people open up more.

Beta Androstenol does the same but on a deeper more intimate level. People feel a connection to you. They open up on a more deep level.

On there own both can be sexual in the sense that they create interest and make you more approachable so if attraction naturally exists then people will be more likely to respond to that attraction.

The copulins are what add the sexy to it though. These are synthetic vaginal secretions of fertile females. They create a more sexual attraction amorous vibe that stimulates men.

I like them both but BAM is my favorite of the two for its deeper connective qualites.

Mara has done a great job with the scents of these to. I have amber and it smells amazong even with the copulins.


Keep in mind oils can be a little more subtle then the alcohol sprays because they diffuse slower but the good thing is they last longer.

I can't add anything useful to Tisha's bang-on explanation.

I personally like the Like A Magnet better - for myself. Tisha says she really prefers BAM - You'll find if you try both, that you'll generally lean more towards one combo than another. I have Like A Magnet in both Original (Honey-Sugar) and Pink Amber. The scents are great.

I wear mine along with other perfumes, sort of as an "enhancement", and with the bonus of the phero effects.

And don't judge the fragrance by sniffing the bottle - because of the cops, it needs to dry down on your skin for about 10 minutes at least before you can judge what it will smell like.

Thanks for the clarifying that a bit Tisha. At least now I know the difference. I read somewhere here they both smell pretty bad and uriny though so now I'm hesitating to buy them. :laugh3:

I think it's the "honey" scented ones that people may find a bit "urinous" I got to admit, their honey scented perfumes do smell a bit too strong sometimes but that's how real honey smells like. Real honey doesn't smell all that pretty, it's pretty dirty/sexy. Go open your jar of all natural honey at home and take a whiff, it doesn't smell like what you taste lol

I usually layer honey scented perfumes with something vanilla-ish or fruity and I've had people tell me that it smells amazing.

If you could get a sample (if it's available) I would recommend you to try the samples out first just to see if you like them. If not, the ladies over their will be more than happy to take it out of your hands in the "Sales/Trade" section

Wow really Someone wrote that LOL. I dont think they smell like urine at all. I dont need to cover them at all. The pink amber that I have does that just fine.

Normally the pheromone Androstanone smells like urine but thats not in this formula. Copulins smell like buttcheese. Alpha Androstenol on its own smells like dirty feet. Beta Androstenol has no scent really.

Copulins smell no matter where you get them but Mara really does a fantastic job covering that up. I would not let that comment deter you if you want to try a copulin product.

This is true, some honey scents can smell funny if not combined with a strong enough partner scent. The only honey scent I adore is peach honey. Magic Hands makes this scent in lotion and its to die for.

I think you're referring to my review of BAM. The original scented BAM smelled uriny to me, and I didn't really care for the effect on my TG. So far, however, I have had good results from Like A Magnet, and the fragrances are just more pleasant to me. But that's just me! You have to go with what works for you. Worst comes to worst, you can just use a cover scent.

They are now also offering trial sized sets of Like A Magnet, BAM, and the OCCO line, so you can test all of the scents, in case you are conflicted. Those are not sold in individual samples, to my knowledge, you have to get the whole set.

ok, I give up! You guys talked me into it and I'm gonna order the trial set of BAM just to get started. We'll see how it goes from there...

I have ordered some stuff from androdics before and what I noticed was that all their scents were extremely strong, so I couldn't use more than 2 sprays of anything.

I really loved MX135 though. When I first got it, I kinda hated it and thought it was too strong and obnoxious, but after wearing it once or twice I fell absolutely in love with the chocolatini scent. But now I ran out of it and androdics hasn't had it in stock in like a year and a half so I'm sad.

Is there anything out there thats similar to MX135 or has that chocolatini scent?

ok, so I qualify for 2 free samples with my order of BAM and I can't make up my mind on which ones to request... any suggestions?
