For those who own and have used both products extensively:

Imagine LAL were to go out of business forever. This is your last purchase, stock is limited, and you are allowed to buy 1 or the other.

What would you buy? NAG or oil?

Never used the gel, but I've seen some of what the oil can do and don't see a reason to fix what's working.

I would definitely prefer the oil.

I have SXD-9 in gel and use it once in a month. I realize, that the price per application is higher and worst, gel carrier becomes dry and hard on the bottle top.
after one month(this doesn't happen if the product is used once a week).

From the reports it seems like,gel is better for cold weather and oil is better for warm weather.

Which is really strange, considering most reports for gel products require high heat for diffusion.

From my experience, too much heat can mess up sxd too.From reports, it seems like 15C is the max.First report about NA gel is from fish dude and he lives in Canada(cold as fook).

Yeah the higher heat for diffusion is just your body needs to not be vasoconstricted . Chances are when you're freezing you will be vasoconstricting and that's where the diffusion problem arises. When your body isn't doing that you will see and smell the effects quite obviously.

I've been using it in the summer here in the UK and it's been quite a terrible product vs the amazing product it is in the winter. The 15 degrees resonates well with me for OD . I think it can still work but use 1/10 of a pump or it can cause severe avoidance and even ghosting at even half a pump.

I agree with right_mr on this one. Even though I've only tried the gel, I can say that here in Southern California, an OD is bound to happen 9 out of the 12 months of the year. I wore a half a pump out with a friend and saw blatant ghosting. Seeing that proved to me the product does work but now I just need to see if I can manage to get 1/3 to 1/4 of a pump out somehow.

Full pump I believe is roughly 8 drops.

I use the gel in very warm weather and it works very well for me. LAL also tests their products mainly in Hawaii which is on the equator.
