I'd like to know everyone's thoughts on Nude Alpha Gel as a primary work mix. I know Fishdude believes it doesn't work so well here, but I'd like a second or third opinion on this matter, especially in a non-office environmemt less conducive to power plays and such. I'm looking to phase out A314 Rev.32 in favor of Nude Alpha Gel as a primary driver.

I've washed and tried it solo at work for three half days last week and my initial impression is that its a bit too laid back/chilled-out for my job, well most of the time anyway but the new part-time girl in the coffeeshop has really warmed to me.

Mainly events and public affairs in a large organisation - Many medical, scientific-related and VIP, so not a typical office job. So I need something on the ball, long lasting, trusting, confidence-inspiring and highly professional. NA gel does hit the spot in several ways but its effects are just a bit too languid for my liking, although I don't discount the possibility it could pair well with something else, so I'll be trying some more combinations over the next few months but I'm not really wanting a complex mix that takes ages to apply in the morning.

API, A314 and to a lesser extent Ascend non-cops have been the best one-shot performers for me so far.

Not really enough of Nude or NA to form a really solid opinion. After having other LAL oils go-off on me, I didn't want to take the risk on a full bottle with a product as expensive as NA oil - So when I saw the gel, I took the plunge immediately - Overdose and SDX9 have kept perfectly.

So your real problem is that it's too laid-back for your liking? A higher energy mix like Impi Red (which is what I plan to combo it with) or CORE may go a long way in reducing these concerns. Any thoughts on this?

Yes - For self effects and because people exposed tend to sit around and not get much done, or at least feel that way, which is not good professionally - not dynamic and not in-charge.

I've not tried those yet, so can't comment but yes, I believe it could be steered in a much more professional way.

Then this will be my next purchase. Thanks for clearing that up. If it's not to my liking, I can always return it and go back to using Rev.32 as I'm doing now.

Polar, please tell us more about the oils going "off." I am a bit concerned, as I am looking at investing in the 30 ml of several LAL products to ensure I have them long-term. Would refrigeration have mitigated the issue?

I second your thoughts on gels, though. OD has been great for the long haul, and it will last a long time at 50 ml!
