The book I've just read is:
"Nueroscience of Personality: Brain Savvy Insights For all Types of People" by Dario Nardi, Ph.D.

In this book is observations from EEG (Electro Encephelo Graph) that have been broken down by MBTI personality type. There is a huge correlation between personality types and what parts of your brain are active.
What I want to get out of this is to find how to "MANIPULATE" by activating the brain portion that controls this or that.
I think some of this can be done thru pheromone exposure.
Nardi has found 16 different regions that can be measured by EEG, only the surface of the brain is measured with EEG, not deeper electrical interactions, just the ones near the surface. These regions and the patterns in which they are used can show what MBTI group a person falls into, and vice versa.
Nardi also gives some examples on how to get people energized by playing to their brain patterns.
What I think is very possible is that certain pheromones will trigger the brain to start working in a certain way.
1. There are 8 Jungian thought processes. So a person could be using any of these thought processes when first exposed to 'mones.
2. 'Mones exposure could start a thought process transition. An internal chemical reaction could activate a part of the brain that wasn't usually activated in the persons current situation/environment.
3. The person starts thinking with a different part of their brain, not knowing they are doing it, and looking at the situation they are in "thru a different lens".
4. So.... Seeing the change.
Different MBTI personality types use different cognitive processes to different degrees of proficiency. If you activate a part of the brain that the particular type uses regularly, you may not see much of a change. It may seem like you turned on part of the brain that was already on, and nothing happened. But if you turn on part of the brain that is rarely used by a personality type, then you would expect to see a much larger difference in their personality and behavior. Because all of a sudden they are thinking with that piece that they left all dusty in the back corner.
5. Limiting effects.
As well as turning on certain parts of the brain, 'mones could turn them off. This could have even greater capacity for creating noticeable differences in peoples behavior. When you turn something on, it doesn't prevent other processes from happening as normal, like having 2 cooks in the kitchen instead of 1. But reducing the processes that can take place would be huge, like switching from 1 cook in the kitchen to 0 cooks in the kitchen, big big difference.
6. Importance of personality type with Pheromone exposure. If you know the personality type of the person whom you use 'mones around. You can look in this book to see the parts of the brain that are most often used. Then you can make guesses and conjugate thoughts that will let you see what things can be "turned on" or "turned off". This will help to let you anticipate what changes to look for.
As always, just my 2cents.
