Listen, Stripes. Kehawe? posted two times in a short period of time looking for answers to questions in the wrong thread. He apologized for derailing the thread, but knew what he was doing because he apologized for it before being accused. I find this sort of empty. That to me, would be akin to any other new member starting a new thread, asking for advice on their ex-gf, but apologizing because they know they shouldn't be doing it. His answer could've easily been answered in the shout box at the very least.

I came across a little too crass. My post could've been communicated with a little more finesse. I meant to "slap the wrist" of the poster, not attack. Apologies, gents.

That's fine. And your reaction would have been understandable If I had ever given reason before of being trollish in any of my posts. I don't think you can ever find a post of mine in which I have been anything other than humble and respectful to everyone here

With regards to why I "hijacked" the thread: I did not think the question warranted forming a new thread just to ask it So I felt it was better to ask the question in an existing thread get the answer quickly and keep it moving Hence the apology in advance.

I thought I was being considerate to members here by not cluttering the site by opening an unnecessary new thread. There is a lot of complaints about unnecessary threads being started so again I thought I was being considerate and doing the right thing.

My last point: I understand being wary of trolls coming to the site but if you are going to be critical of poster at least look at the poster's history to see if the criticism is warranted. It gets tiresome when you are trying to abide by the rules of the site and being considerate of members and the site and you are still being criticized.

So, anyone have inside information about when Venom will come out and what it does?

Obviously to me, you weren't being considerate but I understand. This is a big reason why we have a troll problem: new users don't know how to use the search button efffectively or they miss the shout box and figure it'll be quicker to serve their needs by posting in an unrelated thread.

In my opinion, the sheer fact of your haphazard double posting asking questions that were previously answered was enough for me to feel it "trollish." I didn't feel a need to do any more digging because it was enough of a trend for me. I may have jumped the gun. Only time will tell. I'm sorry for hurting your feelings and "tiring" you with defending yourself.

I thought I had accepted the apology but I reread my post and see it was sort of halfhearted I was probably still a little frustrated when I responded Anyway I do acknowledge the apology.

Thanks for pointing out the shout box. I have seen it in passing but had no idea what it was for Now that I know I will be using it when needed
