I'm not certain if it works that way, it would depend on where and how the methyl-group is cleaved it seems, if we assume Methyl-Salicylate enters the brain via inhalation. I hope it works as a COX-inhibito just like Aspirin, then MS would be very good against estrogenic actions in the brain.
